SOME STATES ARE NOW OFFERING SCHOOL CHOICE
The time has finally come for forward thinking, proactive state governments to pass legislation offering choices to families with children of all ages. Please read below the letter I have sent to Governor Kim Reynolds from the great State of Iowa. They have recently passed into law an excellent financial supplement to families so they can choose alternatives or supplements to the public school system. Please read and let us know what you think:
Hello Governor Reynolds:
I recently had the pleasure of listening to your interview on the Fox News Channel regarding the new legislation recently passed allowing school choice. I was quite excited as I am the founder and CEO of lessongram.com. We are a national education service offering tutoring help to students of all ages, all academics as well as the arts.
I have personally had over 50 years of experience in developing education companies. When we were confronted with Covid a few years ago, it became quite clear to me that we were facing a very serious educational crisis. Even though, at that time, I was semi-retired, I decided to step up and form a company that could address the educational needs which were not being met by so many school districts throughout the country.
Obviously, after watching your wonderful Fox interview, I became quite excited with the new Iowa education law. You see, I’m a former Minnesotan, born and raised in Minneapolis, so I am a midwesterner at heart with a strong belief in a good, sound educational system. However, I have been living for many years in Southern California which, as you can imagine, is difficult for a proud conservative patriot.
I would like to have an opportunity to discuss the possibilities of our company helping the students of Iowa. We are a unique organization in that we have excellent tutors and teachers with vast experience, we are affordable, convenient and flexible. Most of our service is provided virtually but with instructors who are skilled in providing stimulating and efficient engagement in their student’s sessions, thereby reducing screen fatigue.
