Marlene sits with artist Joel Rothberg to talk about learning to be an artist.

Marlene joins Joel and they discuss how artists learn their trade.

Joel grew up in Brooklyn N.Y. and earned a bachelor's and Master's of Fine Arts degree from the Pratt Institute before getting married and moving to Los Angeles. Along the way he's had work featured in the Smithsonian, won awards from the NY Society of Illustrators and the NY Art-Directors Club and worked at LIFE magazine as an editor.
